FAQ’S
Q What type of furniture solutions do you offer?
A We specialize in offering European style contemporary furniture solutions. This means producing home office furniture designs, commercial office furniture designs, and custom furniture solutions that are unique and space efficient. Our furniture can be custom built to your space, and personalized by choosing from a wide variety of materials, finishes, handles, legs, and accessories to achieve a contemporary or traditional furniture style. We measure, design, and install our modular furniture for a custom fit.
Q How do I begin the design process?
A • The process begins with a free consultation with one of our friendly, experienced designers at our showroom located at 11225 Trade Center Drive in Rancho Cordova. Call 916-638-1991 to schedule an appointment or just drop in with a sketch of your room. We are open Monday thru Friday from 9am to 5pm and by appointment on Saturday.
• Don’t worry about your sketch. Our designers will begin the design process based on approximate dimensions. To the extent possible, sketch a floor plan (view from above) of your space with measurements of wall lengths, ceiling heights, doors, windows, and dimensions of floor moldings. Also record the dimensions of any equipment that will be incorporated into the furniture such as computers, printers, TVs, etc.
• In consultation with you, our designer will sketch a thoughtful solution specific to your needs and give you a price quote.

Q Will you meet with me in my space?
A Yes. We encourage you to first visit our showroom to examine our sample installations and to assess the style, price points, and quality of our furniture products. By listening carefully and designing creatively, we arrive at an initial design and give you an accurate price quote. If you feel we have the right solution at the right price, we measure your space, your equipment, and make notes of everything from the electrical outlets to the dimensions of your baseboard moldings. Many of our design services are free of charge. In some cases we charge a design fee that is applied in full to your order.
Q Why buy modular furniture over traditional furniture?
A By using our extensive platform of pre-configured modular pieces, we provide custom-fit solutions while often saving our clients money over the cost of all custom-built pieces. As required, our modular components can be manufactured at any size. Our state-of-the-art factories deliver the economies of scale of efficient manufacturing along with guaranteed, uniform quality. Replacement parts, if needed, are readily available, as are matching furniture items when expanding or reconfiguring. The benefit is that you purchase once and re-configure or add pieces as your needs change.
Q What if my space is an odd size or has obstructions?
A Our designers will design a solution to fit your space exactly. Where needed, we order specially-sized work surfaces, panels, and cabinets. Our installers field cut counters into corners, around pipes, and other obstructions. Filler scribes between cabinets and walls are sized for a built-in installation.
Q What are the lead times?
A • 4 to 6 weeks for all products and finishes.
• Depending on our manufacturer’s production schedule, some items may be available quick ship.
Q What about the quality of your products?
A Please visit our showroom to assess the quality of our products for yourself. Our furniture and cabinetry is built to commercial grade standards and is of superior quality to most locally manufactured laminate products, or products available from closet companies and furniture chains. We use the same system of manufactured products for our commercial office installations as for residential interiors. Some features that differentiate us include:
• All our standard laminate colors feature solid-color edgebanding to avoidthe self-edge (black line) condition frequently seen along the edges of inferior laminate work. Our matching egdebanding lends our laminate work the appearance of a solid surface material.
• Cabinets are constructed of 3/4” thick material (not 5/8”) with solid, finished 3/4”backs. All panel edges are finished with solid color edgebanding. Because all cabinets also have finished back panels, our cabinets can be usedas stand alone pieces, or installed as conventional casework.
• All laminate countertops are solid 1-1/8” thick with high pressure laminate (not melamine.). High-pressure laminate will stand up to years of heavy use. All wood veneer counters are of solid wood.
• All drawers use full extention ball-bearing metal drawer glides carrying a100 pound load rating for box drawers, and 150 pounds for file drawers.
• Metal door hinges are concealed with six way adjustment for perfectalignment and performance.
• If any components are damaged, replacement parts are readily available.
Q How green is your product ?
A Of all the environmental impact factors to consider, perhaps the most important is durability. More energy is expended in furniture fabrication than at any other stage. A cabinet that lasts 25 years will use far less energy overall than one that lasts 5, and the longer it will avoid disposal into our landfills or our air. Our products are manufactured for durability and a long life. Replacement parts, if needed, are readily available from our customer service department. That our products are easily movable and reconfigurable also adds to their life span. This flexibility allows the reuse of our furniture as our clients’ needs change, reducing the need to discard existing furniture or to purchase new furniture.
Our furniture is constructed of wood panels made form 98% to 100% post industrial recycled content, meaning our panels are made almost entirely from the recovered scrap generated by other lumber industries. Our laminates are Green Guard certified for indoor air quality. Only solvent-free, water-based adhesives are used during the laminating process. Formaldehyde emissions are within the environmentally Preferable Product Certification standards. Furthermore, all our wood substrates are sealed.
Q What special medical cabinets do you offer for healthcare offices and hospitals?
A Over the past 25 years our manufacturers have provided cabinetry for over 3,000 healthcare facilities across the country. In the Sacramento area, we offer this flexible medical cabinetry and furniture system to provide a comfortable atmosphere for patients and a functional working environment for the medical staff. Medical cabinets and specialty items include prescription desks, cabinets with trash doors for easy disposal of medical waste, x-ray cabinets, form-holders, and pass-thru cabinets. Base cabinets are available at 36” ht. (counter height) or at the 34” ht. ADA height requirement for access by the physically handicapped. Laboratory countertops can be ordered in epoxy resin or other chemically resistant materials. Counters for exam rooms and nurses stations are available in Corian or other solid-surface materials as well as any commercially available laminate.
Q What is your warranty?
A 10 year warranty on all standard products. 6 month warranty on installation work. Lifetime warranty on murphy bed mechanism. Replacement parts are always readily available. Our customer service department is available to repair or replace damaged parts.
Q What if I need to move or re-configure my installation?
A Call our customer service department. We will locate the original drawings of your furniture installation and provide the necessary labor to disassemble and reassemble your furniture. We can also supply the matching additional pieces to make the installation work in your new space.
